The Grainstore is unique. It’s always been ahead in the development 
of youth arts in Ireland and with the help of Canvas, the youth arts committee it continues to present a supported way of working that values the creativity of young people. If you are lucky enough to be under 25years of age, it’s a place where you can try stuff out, develop work in media that you haven’t worked with before and most importantly it’s a place where you can approach your own ideas and be supported in realising them.
Situated in the heart of Cabinteely Park the Grainstore includes a multipurpose hall for dance, exhibitions, performances etc, a large workshop space, a rehearsal room, a multimedia room, an artist’s studio, a reception area, and an office. Currently the facility hosts art classes, dance classes, musical rehearsals, band rehearsals, music tuition and all the amazing things that Canvas organise that they will talk about on their page.
Spaces are available for rent as long as they are used for youth arts purposes.
